    How does a woman…how does ANYONE go to college with no thought of a future career? Was she a heiress when she was 20? She must have been gorgeous if she was that dense and still snagged a husband.

    When she graduated there was probably a job she could have gotten. But not now. Depressions make for poor job possibilities and choices.

    Cool it! I’m 74 and still have no idea of what zi as trying for in college (engineering vs theatre)
    20 years in the military (enlisted and officer) or all the other things I have tried since! to quote Mame, “Life is banquet and most poor son of bitches are starving for a sandwitch!”. Living is important! Success? Who knows?

    She was going for an MRS degree….
    Sad, but I know many girls who only go for that purpose.
