We will not have a turkey on Thur. as neither of us like it all that much and there are just the two of us.

I love Thanksgiving food so much that on Friday I will do the entire shebang for just the two of us so we have leftovers. That’s the problem with having a big family gathering (40+, and yes, I’m looking forward to it! I am blessed to have a wonderful family, even extending to aunts, uncles, and cousins)—no leftovers.

I’m the husband/father in our family and I do the Thanksgiving cooking (I do a LOT of the cooking in our house). I certainly don’t slave for three days. Usually busy the night before and the actual day of. We generally have anywhere from 6 to 10 people over – not a huge crowd. I enjoy the cooking part, but would really appreciate if someone else would load the dishwasher.

We love turkey and trimmings so much that we already had ours two weeks ago (just two of us also). Going to visit relatives on Thursday and eat (and donate) at a church buffet.

We buy an extra turkey and during the middle of the year will have a big turkey dinner. Don’t get enough at Thanksgiving.

I’m right with you there. I think we’re having Elk steak. Come on over. :)

I usually just have the turkey and trimmings on Thanksgiving, no other time so it would be nice to get it.

There’s just the one of us who will have turkey gumbo. With smoked sausage and shrimp added.

How about being equal in making Thanksgiving dinner?

It’s just my husband and I and he helps with the cooking. This year we’re having ham.
