Not to mention that in Michigan in the middle of June, legal sunset is about 9:15 PM (in Hell, Livingston County), and it doesn’t get dark until 10:00 PM.
I used to organize the “Vista Cruise to Hell and Back” on Father’s Day weekend from 2003-2007.

Dear Teacher Lady – the days are all 24 hours long. The difference between December and June is the number of day light hours, not the total number of hours.

The fact that you do not know this makes me wonder why you are a teacher.

I like that idea. And since we’d have a whole new month that we didn’t used to, we could take the whole month off and continue to work 12 months like we do now.

agreed! Now how to get past the superstitious and all those statisticians and accountants who would have to deal with a prime number of months per year.

They all seem to agree on twelve months. but the length of those months varies. One company I worked for went from the 28th to the 28th. Another decided that the month end was the last working day of the month.

She wasn’t teaching. Just BS-ing with her boyfriend. Casual conversation doesn’t have to adhere to strict logic or fact. PS: Its only a cartoon.

June should be the shortest month, because it is always the dreariest in Southern California. June gloom—cold, overcast mornings, chilly nights, and steamy afternoons.

I’m glad it’s February. Now the worst of winter should be past us. And it’s the beginning of a Chinese new year – the year of the horse.

In the Northern hemisphere, there are two 31-day summer months in a row (July & August), and in the Southern hemisphere, there are also two 31-day summer months in a row (December & January). That’s about fair.

Not when the content ignores the medium, and this medium is fanciful, humorous, and quite informal. Enjoy the day…
