Here in Florida, we’re training the ants to eat the pythons. And vice versa. Should be interesting.

They can be smug in the winter, but in the summer when it’s 100 degrees and 100% humidity for 12 straight weeks, then it’s our turn to be smug.

Don’t forget the blue tongued Nile monitor lizards. They can get up to 7 feet or more.

Not worried about pythons or fire ants here in San Diego. Just fire.

People here in Texas aren’t all that smug when the temperature hits triple digits and the humidity turns every place into a sauna.

We have a range of likes & not-so-much; but I can dress for the cold easier than I can dress for hot & humid. I can’t stand Southern Florida in the winter. North of Orlando is okay though.

Texas is like Florida in that they are big from North to south. That gives some range of climate.
Before you tell me that TX is big from east to west also, I’ll repeat what a friend from Alaska said to a bragging Texan, “If Alaska were divided in half to form two states, Texas would then be third largest.”

The only place the weather is perfect all the time is the Garden of Eden and we ain’t gettin’ back in there anytime soon. However, Texas is almost as good.
