It’s something where you are always alone and try to get tons of friends to say they like you, who are also alone…So forget it and you and your bud go find a ball and toss it back and forth…or maybe there’s a kite somewhere…

Book or booking is what the police do to you when you’ve done something bad……..they keep your picture forever along with your fingerprints………… not to be confused with bookie, a guy who takes your money if you’re not careful……

There’s a kite stuck in the tree in the park behind my house…it’s been there for eight years. Stupid plastic kites.

I was wondering what was causing my headache………………… can’t you pay some kid a pound to climb up and get it? If that cures my headache I can get medical money back for you.

Eons ago, in the Military, book meant signing out to head into town for beer & fun. So, to “book” came to mean, leave the area, as in, “I’m gonna book!” (the bad grammar was normal)

It can also mean to buy a ticket, usually on a ship, “book passage”.

When I was in grade school, I always raised my hand to get our textbooks. I loved the smell of new textbooks. While others smell drugs, I love new book smell.
