‘There are people starving in Asia who would gladly eat that!’
    ‘Good … let’s send it to them…’

Asia just called, they said that they’re NOT that hungry…

Fear Factor. Lord, I hope NBC doesn’t reboot that series again!

I’m not sure about the slimy green balls and the quivering white blobs but in Asia the mysterious brown paste is likely to be belachan (or belacan, because the “c” is pronounced “ch” in Malay / Indonesian). It’s a strongly flavoured (and “strongly fragranced”) shrimp paste used in SE Asian cooking. It’s one of those fragrances that one experiences in Asian grocery stores.

I’m pretty sure that’s not what Andy made.

Maybe we here in Asia should be sending our food to American children. At least the American kids will eat healthier food and maybe lose a little weight.

“Mysterious brown paste” sounds like Marmite, or if they’re lucky, miso. Miso can be quite good. Apple butter could also be a “mysterious brown paste.”
I don’t think I’ve seen anything like the other two that was edible though. “Slimy green balls” sounds like algae, but not the kind people eat. I suppose “quivering white blobs” could be some sort of eggs, though if they were normal eggs Peter would probably recognize them.

    Only Jello quivers, not eggs.

I thought of Brussels Sprouts, something with gelatin in it, and Refried Beans.
