    Let me guess: he made an airplane out of paper which attracts and captures those buzzing insects known as flies.

    @TEMPLO S.U.D.

    No need to guess. It’s quite obvious.

    At his age and in his environment he would not be expected to know what fly paper is. I didn’t know until I was about 7.

    But Jason is suppose to be one of those genuises, infact a few days ago he made a paper airplane that landed like a real one with wheels popping out.

    For someone who is suppose to be a genuis Jason can be such an idiot.

    Most geniuses don’t have the common sense God gave…a fly. We had a friend who we used to joke that, although he was a genius, could easily lock himself in his convertible Mustang with the top down.

    @ K.C.F. Well, I guess I’m not like most … or I’m not genies enough. That’s it: those ridiculous IQ tests I tried. The high scores fooled me. Not that my patent, or my building and flying airplanes indicates intelligence.
    Anyway, I think I have more sense than most, if not all, politicians. And no, I won’t lock myself in a convertible.
    Oh, and, yes, Jason certainly has his lapses. Hmm. After some self reflection, I’ll admit even geniuses can slip.

    Most somewhat affluent folks have screen doors, etc. I like to use the old fashion fly swatter. A twisted towel :-)

    He wasn’t informed of the spelling of STICKY paper for fly catching.

    Genies are always brilliant. Genius is another matter. Genius loci are all around.

    It’s used to CATCH flies, Jason. But you do get an “A” for effort.

    Oops. Thanks, N-G49. There’s another of my slips. And I’m sure those scores were inflated. I wouldn’t score well on being aware or alert, would I?

    True, Sheldon is proof of that.

    Maybe he learned something in the 14 years between the two strips.

    Yup—I was gonna say that today’s strip is ironic, given the topic of this past Sunday’s.
