   I did not have that problem with braces but then I was not in school an a20-year-old adult.
   I had braces for only 4 years and personally paid every dollar owed. My teeth needed the treatment and doing fine. That time period over 30-years-ago.

   That has become a bit of a cliche the locking of braces. Never had them, never had a sweetheart either sad to say.

   As far as I know, when my sister had braces, she had no troubles kissing her boyfriend, who is now her husband of three years.

    I don’t know why this was, but when a girl at my junior high got braces, people seemed to like her ever more.
