Ha! If MS is coming out with Win8, then iFruit of today should come out with OS – DS9. (I give you all permission to figure out what the ‘D’ and maybe the ‘S’ stand for.)

Fortunately – or unfortunately, depending on whether or not you liked Will Wheaton – he never had to wear a red shirt.

I don’t recall Picard ever saying “please” when issuing orders.

Not to mention Sheldon Cooper’s assignment for him. ;-)
Personally, I love the last panel and the “grumble”… truly the part that made me giggle the most. ;-)

One version of Westly did. But then all command staff wore red in the ST:NG series. (That alternate where the Klingons were fighting a war with the Federation and are winning. Tasha Yar was still alive. Only Guinin knew something was askew with the continuum. No Federation ship rescued the Klingons at Kittimer.)

Be kind, Wesley did have his positive moments during the series, especially when coming up with a way to save the entire crew from that addictive game that an bad guy was using to take over the ship.

I liked Wesley at first, he was cute. Then he became the scapegoat to rag on and he’d just whine about, it got annoying.

Picard: Shut up Wesley!
… Get him onto the security team and let me know what he does.
Dr. Crusher: “Shut up Wesley?”
Picard: Doctor…
Wesley: And since I am finished here sir, may I point out that-
Dr. Crusher: Shut up Wesley!

I never liked that last name. Why on earth Crusher? Always wanted to change it. It got in the way, too loud of a last name. In the end you wanted to crush him!

According to one source, it was derived from “bonecrusher,” said to be another nickname for a doctor (whence DeForest Kelley’s “Leonard ‘Bones’ McCoy”).
