    Ah, memories. Even twelve years later, this strip seems as fresh as it was back when Survivor first aired!

    I don’t know – never had one. But then, if I almost never want to watch TV – and when I do, I wait till the next day and watch it online.

    It is sad that people are so involved with the nonsense on TV and not in real life.

    Ah yes. Survivor: Like watching paint dry or grass grow. Just like the rest of all those “reality” shows. Man! I don’t CARE!!!!!

    Because all entertainment is bad, dagnabit! What with them funny movin’ pictures and big movin’ pictures downtown and them funny lil’ drawings people puts in them thar newspapers ta laugh at! Kids these days think life is about more than work and sufferin’ for the rest of your life! Back in my day we weren’t allowed to have fun no sir no how! The most fun we were allowed to have was to watch the dawg chase squirrels!

    What passes for “entertainment” today has me rummaging through my DVD’s of old shows like “Emergency!”. Those were (and still are) worth watching. At least they had a plot, compared to today’s programs.
    Besides, who wants to be reminded of the real world we live in? It stinks.

    It might have been the Survivor with the supposed chef that couldn’t cook a pan of rice that was edible.

    @dukedoug

    The reel-to-reel recorders have been around since the late 1940’s. VCRs and blank tapes are still sold.
