    Peter, learn to quit while you’re ahead. I assure you that your parents would find a B to be perfectly acceptable (especially given your overall record).

    The changed grade was very harsh. Perhaps the teacher was just scaring him so that he would ask no more and be grateful for a “B.”

    well he should have marked c+,It is not as good as the B but if a + is what you wanted there you go.

    Too often in my school days, A meant average, something one was expected to get. Anything less was disgraceful. A+ was best.
