I plan a vacation for January every year because after the holidays if I don’t get some R&R I know I’m going to get sick

The week before my vacation I got sick, spent 4 days laying around, went back for 3 days

I go back to work tomorrow night and I really haven’t done much all week, that was the plan

I feel better and I’m well rested and almost restless enough to want to go back to work

    Club him with your cast.

    I think you mean crutch.

Phil, I think you are lucky that John is ‘hobbled’ or you would be wearing his cast stuck up your a$$(Sorry, unintended rhyme).

Our grandkids love grandpa’s crutches, they make great stilts.

As often as we saw John sitting around in the comic strips before he had the cast, I am surprised he would complain at all. I guess like any good thing, you can get too much of it.

Do you really get a whole leg cast for a broken foot? Seems a bit overkill.

It only goes up to his knee. And yes, they do give a knee length cast for a broken foot. Need to keep it stable, protected and all that.

    Oh, how true!
If you ever have a cast on your foot (I did) or forced bed rest (ditto), you find yourself going stir crazy, only people think you’re just goofing off and taking it easy.

You can still get stuff done with a cast…my Mom made it work when she was younger so can you
