Phil, I think you are lucky that John is ‘hobbled’ or you would be wearing his cast stuck up your a$$(Sorry, unintended rhyme).

Do you really get a whole leg cast for a broken foot? Seems a bit overkill.

Oh, how true!If you ever have a cast on your foot (I did) or forced bed rest (ditto), you find yourself going stir crazy, only people think you’re just goofing off and taking it easy.

Get a wire coat hanger John! Untwist it and stick an end down the cast and gently scratch that itch!

Best medicine… Have the brother-in-law “help” you with the stuff you’ve thought of to do. Run the feet off of him for asking such a considerate question!

Wow…Lynn is really milking this broken foot in real-time rather than comic strip time.

Years ago, one of my older brothers had a broken ankle when they still used plaster for the cast. He had his leg covered up to his knee with the cast for six weeks. By the time it was nearly over, it was itching and really smelly. The fun part for him(he was in high school) was getting the sympathetic girls to help him carry his books home. lol
