I might notice someone’s ethnic background, but not always. Was surprised once by a gal I knew, when she started talking about native American stuff. So, she had dark hair, I never even thought about her being Indian. Shouldn’t have been that surprised, I suppose, but I try to take each person individually, and not necessarily a member of any particular group.
