Good morning people. I found this on the net. I thought you would appreciate it. Most days I’m the guy on the left, but some days I think I might be closer to the guy on the right.

Great!! My link doesn’t work, and I don’t have a “Delete” button. This has happened before.

Anyway, here’s the url the old way. (Yes, I’m the guy on the right today!)

    Goodmorning Vagabonds.
Being net-paranoid, I’m not going there.

Good morning, Vagabonds. Still too cold to swim in south Florida. The pool water’s warm, but I don’t want to risk pneumonia by getting out of the water into the cold air.

Preparing for my birthday this Friday – I’ll be 74 and also preparing to go to Israel for Passover.

@Alexikakos You can delete what you wrote on GoComics by cursering to the bottom of your message and a delete option will come up. I do it all the time when I notice I made a typo and put a new message in with the typo corrected. (I just did that when I realized I spelled your name wrong). BTW Are you Greek?

Alex, LOL! That’s certainly the way I feel most of the time.

    Morning, Village.
No-one even tried to answer. Maybe y’all don’t remember who Stymie was. He was that cute little bald headed African American kid who liked to wear a derby hat. His name was Matthew Beard and the hat was actually a gift from Stan Laurel in real life.

“@Alexikakos You can delete what you wrote on GoComics…..”

Now, I’m wondering if my first comment beginning: “Good morning people.” is showing up at all for others. (I had the same problem ( no buttons) over at “Wizard of Id” after this posting and the replies there imply they can’t see my problem comment either.<br<>This is my (forgive me) third posting here today. It is my first posting which, at least to me, has no buttons to highlight so I can get rid of it.

Have a happy birthday, and a safe trip to Israel.

Here’s a passover joke for you:

Passover is approaching. At the sedar table, every Jewish child will be told, again, the story of Moses and the Pharoah, and how G-d brought boils, locusts, hail and the other plagues onto the Egyptians.
Yet in spite of this overwhelming evidence of G-d’s intensions, Pharoah refused to let the Jews go, until a tenth plague, the death of the first-born children was inflicted on every Egyptian home, passing over the Jewish homes.

Only after this tragedy did the Pharoah relent and let the Jews leave slavery and Egypt to begin their journey to the promised land.

This has been known for generations. What has not been known is why the Pharoah, in the face of such overwhelming evidence would refuse to release the Jews ater the first nine plagues.

It took eight years of research by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, the renowned psychologist and nurse, to find the definitive answer.

Dr. Kubler-Ross spent those years studying the Dead Sea Scrolls before discovering the answer. And once found, it was obvious…..(wait for it)

The Pharoah was……… in de Nile.

Nope, Alexikakos is just an internet avatar. I’m a born Canadian.

    @Alexikakos

Sorry you’re having problems with the comments. FWIW, I received all 3 of your posts this morning. I think what folks are trying to say is that the “Delete” and “Reply” buttons are at the bottom of any post that you make, but they only show up if you mouse over the post. I figure you’re probably already aware of this however, and that the buttons just aren’t showing up for you. Am I right?

If so, it may have something to do with your configuration. Check to see if you have the latest Java installed. Also, check to see if you have the latest Flash installed. The website requires these programs in order to function properly.

@FLORCHI: Thank you for the tip about finding photos of jacaranda trees on Google, but for some reason the photos aren’t as good as seeing them in person.

@Alexikakos: My father was a Canadian from Ottawa. Whenever I complained about the winter weather in New York he told me that in Ottawa no one saw a dry sidewalk until MAY.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Alex, I too saw all three of your posts. I did check out the link, and it is very funny. As you said, most of the time I am the guy on the left, but every once in a while…….

Slim, I attempted to send to you Alex’s cartoon via Facebook. We’ll see how that turns out.

Arye, HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Many, many more, my friend. After all, you have to catch up to Slim……
I would love to join you for Passover in Isreal. It is one of my dreams.
