    @comicgos

    He’s one of the minions from Disney/Pixar’s “Despicable Me” movies. The new one is coming out in a few weeks. Still, I don’t understand the crossover with this particular comic….

    How long is the sell-out gonna last? I read this strip for the existing characters. If I wanted to watch Despicable Me, I’d go rent it…

    @LingeeWhiz

    Somebody’s out of original ideas and/or getting a payoff from Disney/Pixar.

    Despicable Me and Me 2 are Universal, not Disney/Pixar

    The Minions make great comic strip characters.
    @hutzut… thanks for the correction, you beat me to it!

    Those guys don’t belong in this strip…nothing’s sacred…everything’s for sale…

    Someone said Glenn worked on the movie. If he is credited with that, I don’t see a problem.

    Glen worked on the film as “an additional storyboard artist”, and is listed in the credits.

    Illumination Entertainment is the production company working within Universal to bring out Despicable Me 2. They seem to be quite enthusiastic about the crossover with The Duplex:
