    In the meantime, dems will try to pass more gun laws, all the while screaming that they are the only ones who can be trusted with them. Hypocrites. None of your laws worked before, yet you’ll try again.

    Many convicted felons have bee returned to prison for simple possession of firearms, even when picked up for minor offenses, or not even when committing other crimes , just being found in possession. That IS a gun law that has been highly effective in preventing violent crimes.

    Diane Finestein has some good ideas. The Dem majority should vote them into law immediately.

    Feinstein’s sensible proposal, par in almost every other civilized nation, calls for banning the sale, transfer, importation or manufacturing of military-style weapons and doing the same for magazines than can accept more than 10 rounds. And the 1994 assault weapon ban gets more teeth. But the Feinstein bill doesn’t just go after gun owners; it also protects them by grandfathering weapons legally owned at the time her proposed law would be enacted. Grandfathered weapons would be subject to registration and background checks on the owners and any transferees.

    In the meantime republicans will stall and hem and haw and stand by while US citizens are exterminated wholesale in their schools, movie theaters and public spaces while insisting the death by random extermination is the ‘cost of freedom’.
    the republicans have made gun control laws intended to fail, so they can point to the laws, as a whole, as failures.
    HYPOCRITES.

    That pesky constitution rears it’s ugly head again… If only it didn’t exist, the Communists (formerly known as ‘democrats’) could finally realize their dream of complete control. Alas, they don’t/can’t remember it has never worked before…. and ‘this’ could precipitate civil war, and the complete eradication of liberalism from the USA.

    Wrong again, dude. Or why is it that the US, with its unique and ridiculous access to weapons, has a death rate due to handguns seven to ten times any European country? It’s not like every country has this problem — they don’t. And we know the differences in the laws! It’s right in front of you; you just don’t want to look at it.

    Oh, get a clue. Democrats today are like Republicans 20 years ago. No one is REMOTELY near Communism, and if you actually knew anything about Communism, you would realize that.
    And so the rest of your statement is simply bizarre. If the Democrats were trying to achieve complete control, they’ve done an awfully bad job against the GOP…
    And by the way, have you actually READ your Constitution? I have. The second amendment says this: “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
    So for you spree killers are part of a “well regulated militia”?
