Many convicted felons have bee returned to prison for simple possession of firearms, even when picked up for minor offenses, or not even when committing other crimes , just being found in possession. That IS a gun law that has been highly effective in preventing violent crimes.
In the meantime republicans will stall and hem and haw and stand by while US citizens are exterminated wholesale in their schools, movie theaters and public spaces while insisting the death by random extermination is the ‘cost of freedom’.the republicans have made gun control laws intended to fail, so they can point to the laws, as a whole, as failures.HYPOCRITES.
That pesky constitution rears it’s ugly head again… If only it didn’t exist, the Communists (formerly known as ‘democrats’) could finally realize their dream of complete control. Alas, they don’t/can’t remember it has never worked before…. and ‘this’ could precipitate civil war, and the complete eradication of liberalism from the USA.
