   What did he do from a biblical perspective that would send him to Hell?

   I’m not saying that he shouldn’t be punished, I’m saying The Bible doesn’t think what he did was wrong.
   .
   In Biblical days, duking each other was seen as “normal” and young boys were often the “mistress” of older men. After all, available girls without virginity were scarce like hens teeth look at all the men that Mary Magdeline was doing on a daily basis.
   .
   It’s like this in many parts of the world even today. Where the virginity laws are super strict, that doesn’t mean there is no premarital sex.
   .
   Again, I’m not saying it’s right. I’m saying there isn’t something in the Rule Book that says the pictured penalty is proscribed.
   .
   Maybe God “forgot” to mention it. Strange thing for an omnicient, omnipotent, omnipresent fellow, wouldn’t you agree?

   I was at a Bible Study class where the teacher spoke about the moving passage in Matthew where Jesus is standing in his carpentry shop for the last time, looking at his tools and the cot where he’d sleep when he had too much work to go back to the house

   
   I think you must be reading the same Bible as the teacher of that class, since your Bible has passages that are as easy to find as the ones that teacher was using for his lesson.

    Nor does it describe what “offends” means. And that’s one of the points, is that at that time and in those sorts of places, “That” sort of thing was not seen as being a sin in the way that boy girl sex was. And that was mostly because girls were property which was sold “As New” with only one “thing” of value. Evidence of her “newness”. So if boy and girl “played” it cost the family her “evidence.”

    And what about the little ones that don’t believe? Christ doesn’t care about them?
