    Why anyone would go on strike in this economy is beyond me, I haven’t worked in over a year, I would love just to be working, I would even take a cut in pay to get back to work, people are too greedy.

    Too bad they didn’t have one called: Being President for Dummies.
    O and Brainless need to get a clue.

    Maybe people go on strike because they’re tired of having their pay, their benefits, and their respect taken away? At some point you’ve got to say “if this job is worth doing, it’s worth paying someone to do it.” I learned yesterday that cheerleaders for major sports teams get $75 per game. I’d say THEY are due for some union organizing.

    We have a Replacement President for over three years…… Hasn’t made a correct call yet.

    And by that you mean he’s not a Republican and therefore the partisan pundits you watch tell you believe everything he does is wrong.

    You do know that it’s a lockout (and therefore initiated by the NFL), not a strike (which would have been initiated by the refs), right?

    You don’t suppose that’s a euphemism for something a bit lower?

    If you hire scabs, you can’t expect competence.

    I thought you pick scabs not hire them. What is the big hubub all about? The union pushing referees to strike and not work?

    @ Ima
    As usual, you don’t know what is going on. That doesn’t slow you down though. The referee’s union did not strike. The owners locked them out.
    Never mind! DNFTT!

    @olfart

    Really? I am not interested in football. So the owners locked out the referees. How can someone brought in to replace them ‘scabs’????
    Crazy libs.
