I’m a lark, my wife is an owl. Why should it matter?

When I worked, I tried to stay away from the whiners. More pleasant at work when others are upbeat.

No such thing as “oversleeping.” The rest of the world is just prematurely active.

I used to tease my dad when he’d stumble into the kitchen long after everyone else with things like: “It rises!” or “It’s alive!” I wish I could still do that.

As my wife would say, “Don’t jiggle the bed when you get up and don’t slam the door when you go out.”

My brother is a night-owl. Can’t sleep at night so he used to work the midnight shifts. It was quieter and he could get more done.

Always be cheerful around them and have only positive things to say. It absolutely drives them crazy!

I once saw a sign that said: Sometimes I wake up grumpy. Other times, I let him sleep.

Is this what the American dream is ? Married couples are sure crabby to each other in comics…is that how it is in real life ? If so, then I’d say move on…

Not the way it is in real life. Just as sit-coms don’t accurately represent the american family. Dad’s a fat dummy and the kids are the smartest ones in the room, puh-lease
