Actually, Zonker was instrumental in eliminating the sacrifices.

    Righteously done, DUDE!

A friend of mine said he saw a cartoon where several superheroes were confronted by natives. The natives said they required a virgin for a sacrifice. Batman and the Flash pushed Superman forward…

One of Tom Hanks’s least appreciated films:
    Joe vs. the Volcano
    Even less appreciated sequel:
Supreme Court rules in favor of the volcano.

I remember reading and rereading these strips in Doonesbury’s Greatest Hits and the fact that Trudeau missed Zee’s mustache in panel 4 drove me nuts. Silly me.

@ Clark Kent. “Before puberty, boys are incapable of losing their virginity”.
From which orifice did you pull that “fact” ?

I assumed it was some sort of joke.

95% of internet arguments can be aborted if you just imagine a ‘winking smiley face’ at the end of every sentence.

I’m not so sure Zonker was righteous, he might just have been looking out for himself.
On the other hand, I’m sure Duke would have been happy to end the practice, but on the supply side.

Duke must have shocked it off with that remark.

In an old Playboy mag of the ’60’s, there waz a Buck Brown
or Doug Sneyd (memory doesn’t serve) cartoon of two virgins being pushed towards the rim of the volcano and one says to the other “I sure got THEM fooled..I ain’t a virgin !”

I would hope so. I’ve always wondered if Lois had considered what would happen when that baby started to kick.
