Garry, if you can’t either stop running so many reruns, or at least run older ones, I swear I am going to stop reading your strip entirely and read your work solely in second-hand copies of your books that I pick up for fifty cents at yard sales.

Ted Nugent’s trying his hardest, but his appeal is getting narrower.

“This is the story about a boy named Ted. His mother said ‘Ted be good’ " He wouldn’t !

Fifty cents each? I got seven at a garage sale a week ago for two dollars with a copy of Sneaky Pie for President thrown in. I would have willingly paid two dollars for Sneaky Pie Brown’s book, so I got the Doonesbury books for free.

I’m not actually reading the strip except for Sundays, just the comments… ;-)

The GoComics moderator has been informed that Factchecker’s style and concerns look remarkably familiar to regulars here. Follow up on that as you all think fit…

According to the Chicago Tribune, Doonesbury is on hiatus “at least” until fall as Trudeau works on the Alpha House, which has been renewed for another season…no more Doonesbury for quite a while. Yuck.

What’s amazing is that even though this is a rerun, it is still current, at least in regards to Ted Nugent. He just keeps the hits a’comin’.

One can hope that Abbott is mistaken about Texans as he continues to campaign with Nugent.

Admittedly there aren’t a lot of Republican movie stars, but what about Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger? (Of course, they’re California Republicans, not whack-job, Bible-thumping, anti-contraception, homophobic Midwestern or Southern Republicans.)

Won’t read free reruns? I wonder how many of those bought DVDs to be seen again.

oh no Texas is the land of extremists, as it always has been. watching Abbot is pure Republican political “practice.” nothing new here. the R’s have to destory Texas completely as is their rule everywhere.

nothing to see here! move on please

Top Republican celebrities, those great American philosophers, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson.

I also heard that Trudeau had a death in the family, and that was the main reason we are in reruns.
