    No need to move on.
Mere facts have never stood in the way of voter suppression.

At least this rerun happens to be quite topical.

No case of voter fraud because the detection is abysmal. The NRA wishes gun regulation was like vote regulation. Its close but not that close. Anyone can walk and vote as long they are on the rolls- no ID check by volunteers who don’t want to see ID even if you try to show it. Its like a Japanese law. You’d have to turn yourself in to be prosecuted.

In Ohio they do require ID, but they accept a lot of different forms of ID, not just the state-issued ID that the Republicans keep trying for.

it is really hilarious that Trudeau artfully leaves out how
Obama/IRS actually did use voter suppression prior to
the 2012 Presidential election, in targeting Tea Party
Groups. 292 Tea Party groups did not receive 501c-4
approval from the IRS, which kept them from raising funds
to defeat Obama. Progressive groups(7) did get approval, and were able to secure money and votes for our Marxist
President. Looks like ‘Jimmy Crow’ is alive and well, working
for our Progressive Marxist ‘fellow travelers!’.

Please include Colorado. The GOP has spent millions and so far haven’t found a single case of fraud.

@jokesonu – go back and re-check your facts. The IRS checked out more groups than Tea Partiers (who have stated they don’t think we ought to pay taxes). Plus only one group who applied was denied and it wasn’t a TP group. Really, dude, do a little reading and quit listening to FOX NOISE!!

Elections nowadays are like some of these posts: summer reruns.

The reason it appeared to be “targeted” to tea party groups is because Issa only asked for information on Tea Party groups. He told Treasury IG to ignore data on liberal groups. He cherry-picked the data and ginned up a controversy. In other words, business as usual.

You obviously do not know the rules regarding 504©4 groups. If they had been raising funds to defeat any policitcal candidate, then that group, by legal definition, would not quailify for said tax exempt status. They are complaining that they were investigated for wanting to do what is forbidden in the tax code. They deserved the scrutiny they got and eventually received the tax-exempt status they probably do not deserve.

Exactly, TexTech! The IRS is being criticized in this case for doing it’s job.
