"Garry Trudeau is the premier American social and political satirist of his time." -Newsweek Doonesbury has managed to be articulate, abrasive, political, compassionate, misunderstood, misprinted, and outrageous - but one thing it's never been is complacent. Garry Trudeau's creation has chronicled American history and culture in a parallel universe. And through it all, Doonesbury has always been honest, entertaining, and thought-provoking.

Zip looks at the newspaper like it’s a coiled rattlesnake aiming right for his nose. Wonder why that is.

What? Read NEWSPAPERS? That’s so, like, 1980!

Newspaper, what’s that?

Flexible paper newspapers made of newsprint is going out to make way for inflexible screens of jumping, interactive, sometimes 3D pixils to come in. Embrace the future, Apple and Samsung!

I remember newspapers! They were kinda cool….good memories, good times…What ever happened to them? Anybody?

the 3d revolution that was supposed to happen for tvs, monitors, and the like. that really come to pass. speculate many actors and actresses don’t want to be put in 3d and negative comments of their bodies. or, the tech is really expensive. or, the lack of content of 3d.

I’ve got to admit, if Jeff is writing every day until noon, he has a better work ethic than I do. (Although we don’t know what time he gets up.)

We had something like that in the 50s when the newspaper workers were on strile and the mayor read us the comics on tv.
