   I am so sick of war metaphors. The right abuses “War on Christmas”. The left abuses “War on Women”. Both sides abuse “War on Drugs”. Meanwhile, we’re fighting a REAL war, with real blood and real bodies and real misery and real destruction, and nobody’s willing to talk about it.

    I find the MOST interesting thing is that all these “WARS” are declared by politicos that NEVER got within a hundred miles of an ACTUAL War’s front lines.

    If they HAD they’d be far more careful using it, even metaphoricaly.
