The war on Easter is a Fox News front.

The media is the leading criminal of the English language, not the guardian it should be.

“How about a war on war?”
I was going to say that, but somehow, it sounded a bit flippant.

Actually, the war on All Saints Day was lost. (Or won, depending on which side you were on.)

I find the MOST interesting thing is that all these “WARS” are declared by politicos that NEVER got within a hundred miles of an ACTUAL War’s front lines.

If they HAD they’d be far more careful using it, even metaphoricaly.

How about the war on America? 50,000 gun deaths a year, 12,000 of which are deliberate homicides. Five or six assault rifle attacks since the Sandy Hill incident.

Although I’m opposed to gun violence, we need to have accurate numbers, and 50,000 is nowhere near the truth. In the US, numbers have topped 10,000 before but never higher than 12,000 (give or take). Still far too high and totally preventable as evidenced by other countries of similar financial development.

War on the NRA? Fox against its own ally?
