    More of a sabbatical I’d say. He’s probably creatng a new complete story arc right now. I think GT prepares his strips weeks in advance, so the Supreme Court decision is much too new to be examined at this time. .

    As a Doonesbury fan for 30+ years, I think this was one of the funniest arcs ever, and that’s saying something. “See you in hell…..you first.”

    Why are they repeating this OLD strip? They have run this at least twice in the past. Isn’t there anything new to blast? Like the current administration or the Senate? Oh yeah, I forgot they are the New World Order, can’t bash them.

    jack, almost all artists take breaks now and again to keep from getting stale, among other excellent reasons. non-artists do too. they’re called vacations.
