Well, India is closer to Afghanistan- the Red Rascal’s stomping ground.

Hey Republicans! “Job Creators” are in business to make money. They create jobs overseas because the cost of labor is cheaper.

The problem with those overseas countries is that they eventually get uppity and start demanding “workers’ rights,” “health care,” “fair wages,” and to “stop pouring toxic waste in our drinking water and polluting the air we breathe.”

Fortunately, Repuglicans can feel the pain of corporations, and are willing to do whatever it takes to make America just like some of those overseas countries: get rid of pesky child labor laws (I mean, really?!? Children have smaller hands and can do more intricate embroidery!), crush the unions, destroy the evil EPA, and other agencies that get between corporations and unrestrained pursuit of profit.

What “pain of corporations”?!? They just outsource jobs because it makes them more money. It’s more unpatriotic than pain. Time to get out of “the bubble.” The EPA is not evil!!!! Next you’ll say that NPR is evil. ha ha ha Are you actually in favor of child labor laws?!? Are you a Newt Gingrich supporter?

They get way too much “credit” from Rethuglicans.

Yesterday I posted a quote that perhaps was lost in all the vituperative discussions. I think, for people on both sides of the argument, its worth repeating:
"In some countries around the world, it is much easier to make policy. The leader delivers an edict and it goes into effect. There’s no debate, no criticism, no second guessing. Our system is messier, slower, more frustrating, and far better. "

Does Mumbai have motels? I go there twice a year (in fact I’m flying there tomorrow) and I’ve never seen one.

The modern theory is to create jobs which have no work to do.

I am still waiting for Jeff’s bubble to burst. Thought this was all a dream? At any rate, his bubble may burst before he knows it. Then he will realize the importance of voting Democratic. The ass you save may be your own.
