Duke: People staring at me again... I may have to hurt someone before I go. Hit me again, willya, Petey? Petey: Sure thing, Duke! Great to be home, isn't it? Duke: Not really. To tell you the truth, after being in the national spotlight for almost a year it's a pretty big letdown. There are few things more humiliating than losing a presidential race. The pity, the contempt, the way former friends avert their eyes. Petey: Well, You may be overreacting, Duke. I don't think anyone around here even knew you ran for president! In fact, when I mentioned it the other day, the whole gang started laughing. No one could believe it. Duke: Thanks. That's so much less humiliating. Petey: We all just assumed you were holed up in Mexico again.
