Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

You’re lucky you’re getting a hot bath. The proper way to wash off jelly & sawdust is outside with the hose, so you don’t clog the bathtub drain!

Terrific – back to the basics of the strip – love it. So true about babies and dogs – they get into everything.

Oh people who read this strip – please forget those stupid #@$%# cats already.

If you like cats – read Garfield.

I get a bath when I bathe my dogs, but…Baby and dog bathing together?
luckychigger said, 3 months ago
@Nancy
If both are equally sticky with jelly and sawdust (where did they find the sawdust by the way?) it would be more convenient to do the bath this way. If done separate the one not in the bath would be tracking the gunk through the house as they hid. And you really can’t put Sophie outside covered in sticky mess.

Actually, Garfield is more for people who do not like cats.

Agreed….not only that, but the cat ‘theme’ so far in the cartoon is already getting REALLY tired.
