Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

Reminds me of the 2 Very Polite British Mice in the old Warner Brothers cartoons.

Thank you! Haven’t thought of them in years and it’s a lovely flashback!

Every move that a cat makes is practice to kill something….anything!

This is my boys, Boots and Blue
Boots is our big male who has spent the last few years terrorizing the 3 girls
We rescued Blue as a kitten when a neighbor went to jail and her pets needed homes
Blue is already nearly as big as Boots and he’s not even a year old
Their titanic battles can run from one end of the house to the other for up to half an hour, then they crash on the bed together and sleep it off

That is only one reason I love cats! They keep you laughing all the time, especially when they’re young!

Yes, quite elegant those two, they even have them on YouTube.
My favorite cat stories are the “I meant to do that” ones

Well, at least they don’t torment only others.

Mac and Tosh were the “Goofy Gophers”. Voiced by Mel Blanc and Stan Freberg. Indubitably!

My 2 cats do this very thing! I watch them, and one will tap the other and sit and wait, then the other will tap back, then its a free for all!
