Whoa… for a moment there, I thought we’d entered the realm of the supernatural…..

Jerry as an apparition….a floating, disembodied head…

But no, he’s merely ascending the stairs from the ba…. the base… uh…..
    OMG it IS supernatural….
Marlene and Dale don’t have a basement!

I think it’s one of those weird 50s-60s houses called a split level. At least Dale is cleaning the rug as he ‘works out’…

    I dunno Marg….
    you’re right, I’m sure….

But it wasn’t that way yesterday….

    Maybe,….
Crustwood had some door to door alien salesmen come through….
and they all bought tardis interiors…. that grow and change when needed…..

    Nah…. it’s Julie.
    She can do that.

Maybe the reason I’m not seeing the Find-It is that it’s out of sight…
downstairs, in the new basement,.on the door of the convenience.

And I guess Dale didn’t know they make a special Crustwood model AB roller..
He should have ordered it…. model CR2-37429…. “The flAB Roller.”

    BTW …. btcg….
Have you been …. (sniffle) trying to get rid of me the last few days?

So, tell me again how the “Ab Roller” works when Dale’s belly never leaves the ground. He looks like a teeter-totter to me, or worse, one of those NatGeo pix of a whale being taken apart on the shore. (“I love the smell of blubber in the morning.”)

The split levels, trilevels and the ultimate “quad levels” gave the appearance of a large dwelling without really increasing the square footage. A friend once said of his parents house: “You’re always a half flight of stairs away from a bathroom.” His mother had arms that a bodybuilder would be envious of simply from moving the vacuum between levels and bringing in groceries.

You (and Marg) cannot be gotten rid of from this venue. Today’s view of Dale’s B & B (buttcrack and blubber) proves that!
    .
    BB please….a booster dose.

    SS,

    get rid of you????

Nah…I think the brain-bleach makes you either immortal, or like one of them hard to remove stains on Burl’s carpeting.

Quick aside: never try to remove a stain from the Penny home… it’s probably either needed DNA from a family member… or years-old caramel-based candy from the dollar dump.

Hmmm…isn’t this where an eerie voice says “same thing” ?

I like the way Burl’s and Dales homes are most of the time single story and overnight are split level. Is this what does on forced retirement ?

Looks like a raised ranch. It’s basically a ranch-living room kitchen, bedrooms, dining room and either 1, 1.5 or 2 bathrooms on one level, but it has a basement for the family room. You come in through the front door and there are two sets of stairs: one leading down to the basement, the other leading to the living quarters. Many are designed so that you can see the living room floor as you walk up-it looks like one of those old skits where someone “walks” down a staircase. These were pretty common in NW suburbs of Chicago about 30 to 40 years ago.
