    The word is probably the result of Horace trying to saying ‘ventriloquist’ without moving his own lips, but he failed. So in the final panel, he’s a ventriloquist for a mime puppet. Solves the problem of Horace moving his lips when he speaks for the dummy, but makes his act ‘dumb’….

    Yeah, that means the dummy’s hands have to move, and we don’t see that happening in these three frames. Maybe tomorrow?
