Had them for years and finally learned to live without them. Life is better without!

Apparently, the very first credit card was Diner’s Club… and no, I was too young to have one.

Had one, then it expired. Didn’t bother renewing it.

They work around that by renewing it for you automatically now.
And how did he get a credit card without a job?

Canadian Tire Master Card. Come in handy when going Pro on GoComics.

Sears. Over the years I have had almost all of them at one time or another. Now I just have one and it is paid off and stays that way. Zero debt.

Visa…3% interest, no annual fee. When they tried to start charging an annual fee I canceled it and went to their competitor.

VISA – it’s the only card I’m using even now.

@Doctor Toon I experienced at first a few months ago. I got the senior discount at lunch! Saved a whole couple of bucks! Still makes me happy.

That is the only reason I carry one card. But I always save what I am going to spend before hand so it’s already paid for.

The bank for which I was working issued all employees a BankAmericard in the late 60s. I never used mine, but discovered my late and un-lamented had run it well over the limit. Now I carry a debit card and that’s it.
