Richard Thompson's Cul de Sac, is a comic strip about the life of a pre-school girl named Alice Otterloop. It is a light-hearted comic strip centered around a four-year old girl and her suburban life experiences on a cul-de-sac with her friends Beni and Dill, older brother Petey and her classmates at Blisshaven Academy pre-school. Alice describes her father's car as a "Honda-Tonka Cuisinart" and talks to the class guinea pig, Mr. Danders. She has the typical older brother who plays jokes on her, and she contemplates ways to keep the scary clown from jumping out of the jack-in-the-box with friends.

Oh, I so agree! They’ve missed a fine opportunity.

That’s not so scary — there’s someone’s head in my hat at this very moment!

Probably marketing to those who write the checks.

As Bart would say, ‘Wow, this school has everything!’

I sense Petey’s editorial charm at work.

Alice, with the help of Beni and Dill, has created an enduring myth for Blisshaven Academy, the Haunted Preschool!

A sailor friend told of a head with a hat still inside. Scary!

This is actually from February 29, 2008. The 2/29 (run-date, bottom left of 2nd panel) has been changed to 3/1, while the ©2008 (between the 2nd and 3rd panels) remains. Since 2/29 was changed, I think that should be ©2013, but I’m no lawyer.

The reason I mention it, is because the actual March 1, 2008, strip (click it to see it larger):
is about the start of March; but now it’ll probably have 3/2, instead of the 3/1 in the original, reflecting badly on Mr. Thompson.
Note to GoComics: Since these aren’t being run in a newspaper, it isn’t necessary to have the run-date match the month/day it appears in GoComics. Leaving it 2/29 here would have been perfectly acceptable. I generally don’t mind changes; but I find pointless changes irritating.

Petey could make a wonderful diorama of the… Cloakroom with the Haunted Cubby… ooooh – it would probably be his best effort yet! : )

When the reruns started, they were out of sync with the days of the year until the first major holiday happened. Then they dropped several months to catch up.
