    I once did a book report that the teacher didn’t believe I did all by myself. It wsa that good.

    I did about four book reports and I did really well. And no i did not just look and measured the book and reported it, ;)

    Even now I read read read. Book reports as a kid were no big deal. Sometimes we had to do spoken book reports. Those were a little harder for the shy. I’m not shy.

    report mixed up..The teacher will talk to you after class..7th grade (1967)

    Had a middle school experience similar to Dry’s. I was terrified to speak before the class but gave an oral book report perfectly. Because my voice was so soft, the teacher asked me to repeat it to be sure all the class heard it and my mind went totally blank, but no one laughed. This was back in the 40s but I still will not speak in public.
