Who cares about planes?Superman had better uses for his X-ray vision than looking at planes, especially when it came to Wonder Woman and Catwoman.
Some guys are “leg men”. etc… Supes is a “skeletal structure man”. ;-D
Yeah, but Batman takes a lot of Dynamic Do-overs.

Superman limited the depth of X-ray penetration in the cases of Wonder Woman and Catwoman to just beneath the outfits they wore.
Superman’s just not used to using controls.

I always wondered if Superman’s X-ray vision worked ALL the time, and he was just acting like he had to “change” to it to save people’s sensibilities…..
At least they’re not playing “Superman 64.”
