Saving Cornelius Ryan

in the off chance that that was to subtle, see, Cornelius Ryan wrote ‘The Longest Day’ and the Spielburg movie (which had deep connections to that day) was ‘Saving Private Ryan’ so the connection was inevitable

And if you use the British pronunciation, It has more syllables: Wed-nes-day.

In today’s comic, grandpa is commenting on the way the newspaper deliverer (?) carrier (?) is hinting about a gift. Not really funny, just realistic.

Actually, the shortest day is the day that comes just before Saturday: Friday.

What’s the longest word? “Smiles” because it has a mile between the two ends!

I like “The Longest Day,” but Ruthie wouldn’t.

The longest day is when you’re waiting for something on the next, shortest when you have something to prepare for.

On Creators, the grandparents obviously live in Florida or here in AZ for the weather to be good enough to step out in PJs in the morning.

Having just come back from vacation, the longest day is the day before you have to go back to work. We got back from our cruise last Thursday, and Sunday was a very long day. Now here I am back at work, paying for my cruise, saving up for my next one.
