When I was a kid I was always told that when I was a grown up I could do whatever I wanted. They lied. When you’re a grown up you still have to obey too many people, bosses, customers at your job, laws, police, etc. Too many people still call the shots and you still can’t do everything you want! Even if it wasn’t for all these things, you often don’t have enough money! Sigh.
Hmmm, at my age, (retired) I can decided on my own if I want to sleep in or go out. In fact, my husband and I ask each other what our agenda is going to be for the day, so there a point at which we can do whatever.

I know Nick is a cartoon character but as I grow older I tend to think of him as a role model in a way.

I am at the point in my life that I can do anything I want. But I’m kind of tired today. And stuff hurts.
