    The first ad jingle I can remember from my childhood:
    Volare, come see!
    Plymouth Volare, for ’73!

    @Destiny23

    That made me laugh.
    But with all the jingles in my head, I can’t remember which is the first I heard that stuck with me.

    I only remember three of the old jingles in this strip: “Buckle Up” and “Digel” elude me. And is “Pudgy Puss” a real jingle or something made up for this cartoon? Inquiring minds want to know!

    If you’ve got a passion for fashion.
    And you’ve got a craving for saving.
    Take the wheel of your automobile
    And swing on down to Ideal.

    Jingle for a now closed South Jersey clothing outlet. Played on the radio countless times daily during the ’60’s and ’70’s.

    Anybody remembers “Taste that beats the others cold!”?
    That was Pepsi! Or “When Lipton pours the whistle”?
