Serling had a very distinct way of speaking. His stories made you think. (which is hard to make a kid do when they`re around 6 or 7) Gee, was it that long ago?
Yes, you are right that Sally Forth is a decent person, but I look at Rita’s hair style in past strips and it seems to me it resembles Sally Forth’s hair style. It my opinion, it seems like “Ms. Crabby” Lucy Van Pelt has taken over Rita’s brain. That’s what I should’ve said.

I just started to read this strip a few days ago and I like it’!
In my opinion, Rita is just a cranky boss who is a cross between Lucy Van Pelt and Sally Forth. Worse yet, she looks a little bit like my late mother!
