I was surprised when Ryan’s speech had absolutely no policy proposals, just one “blame Obama” (most of which were factually unsupportable, or due to his inability to overcome every single GOP obstruction of good policy). What are you planning to DO? We know about the tax cuts, removing health care, and the huge deficit spending. What else?
Harleyquinn, your statement (apparently in support of Ryan) doesn’t make any sense. It still tells us nothing of the Romney/Ryan plans for America if they win. NPR this morning pointed out that when Ryan talked about a GM plant in his hometown that Obama said would remain open and that subsequently closed, but did not mention that the plant closed in 2008, before Obama even took office. And the Simpson/Bowles budget proposals that Ryan insisted Obama ignored were, in fact, voted down in Congress by Republicans including Ryan himself. This selective history lesson by the Republicans is all too typical of most presidential politics today. There is just too much money (Super-Pac, mostly) chasing too few facts. I do, however, like your icon!
Should be all red balloons, to symbolize the blood to be shed at home (Like all “social programs”, the environment, and the economy), and abroad (like in Iran) if they win.
“No more freebies for Jase, Krazy and ARod if Barry is not reelected. The only “freebies” I get require a B1G1 coupon. You really need to step up your game. The quality of your trolling has really gone down hill.
ROMNEY AND RYAN! SURE AS HECK BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE GOING ON NOW! OBAMA PROMISED “HOPE AND CHANGE”? YEAH, RIGHT! Things changed alright, for the worst under his watch!
:So who are you voting for next election? Oh, yes, that’s right you are Canadian and can’t vote in the upcoming election.I am voting for Mitt."You’re too much a partisan stooge to vote any other way.
It’s true that the plant didn’t last another year, as Ryan said. In fact, the Business Journal in Milwaukee wrote that the assembly plant shut down on Dec. 23, 2008, at the tail end of the Bush administration, a victim of the financial crisis and dwindling demand for the SUVs produced at the plant. That’s nearly one month before Obama was sworn into office.
About 100 workers were kept on in 2009 to finish a truck order and help shut down the plant
It takes time to shut down a plant idiot. You don’t just turn out the lights and lock the doors.
The Simpson/Bowles Committee of 18 needed 14 votes of approval to submit their decision to Congress for a vote. 7 voted against…including Ryan….and he says President Obama walked away from it. The is not much that comes out of ryan that IS truthful…and he’s the smart one.

And by that, they hope to change everything to better resemble the “buyer beware” and “I got mine, @#$% you” policies of the late 1800s.

All you need is a photo ID. The Rs aren smart enough to know Canada isn’t part of the U.S. They think it’s part o Alaska or Michigan’s U.P.
