Transcript:
Son: I saw one once. Grandad, D'you believe in U.F.O.'s? Grandad: This planet earth is like a single grain of sand in an endless desert. There's bound to be intelligence elsewhere. Son: Why haven't they made contact? Grandad: Maybe they're waiting for us to become civilized.

Very probable. It’s going to take a while longer before we are as civilized as we think we are now. Even longer before we are ready to join the earth in peace and tolerance and cooperation. And even longer if there are others out there for contact.

There was peace in Iraq before we invaded. A fearful one, but it kept tribal war at bay. Same as in Libya. It was CIA inyervention and their sowing revolution through Taliban forces that brought chaos that cannot be stifled with an American puppet dictator. A meddlin’ we will go.

As Calvin of C&H once said, the surest sign that there is intelligent life in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.
