We motorcyclists don’t want you to watch for us. We certainly don’t want you dodging around in the road either trying to get out of our way or running us over. Motorcyclists are licensed drivers. We have the same license as you, PLUS another license to ride the motorcycle. Just stay in your lane and all is OK.
I love bicyclists that want the rights of both pedestrians and vehicles.
Aggressive bicyclists are the lowest form of scum on the roads…I’ve had a few flip me off that ignored stop signs or red lights, and it was almost Dodge on Cannondale time.
Too many bicyclists DO ignore the rules, and it IS dangerous. However, my son-in-law was run over (minor injuries) while outside the fog line trying to avoid the driver who hit him.
I’ve ridden bicycles and motorcycles for six decades, the second sign IS correct, but it’s NOT “aggressive drivers” so much as lame, stupid, and drunk or inattentive drivers of cars who shouldn’t even have licenses. BTW: most people I know with actual “disabilities” are NOT the problem, it’s the ones passed with poor vision, or lack of coordination necessary to control a vehicle. Also as automakers add MORE DISTRACTIONS inside the car, like computer access, poorly located GPS, or cell phones, INATTENTION IS THE RULE!
^My son, on his road bike, just did a couple hundred mile trip. On the freeway coming home, TWO cars veered from the center lane without signals, and almost rolled when they “lost it” to take the off ramp, RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM! Sorry, our “drivers” are IDIOTS, and “defensive riding”, on a motorcycle, or bicycle, is the ONLY way to stay alive, and you’ve got to be “religious” about it.

But I agree that bicyclists are dangerous abusers of their privilege. The only thing worse than a bicyclist is a scooter driver.

One needn’t be an aggressive driver to consider targeting an aggressive cyclist. And, why don’t I ever see a sign “Share the Road” with an auto on it.

I think it’s more accurate to say that a lot of car driver’s, (and bicyclists and motorcyclists), don’t see a darn thing on the road.
