“Sigh” is right; I mean, Christmas is a Christian holiday, why is it so popular to deny what is in essence a guaranteed right? If people don’t want to celebrate it, fine, but why in the name of freedom for all, is a religious celebration suppressed and replaced?
Because, over the course of 200 years (but mostly over the course of the past 50 years), the concept of “religious freedom” has been perverted into “freedom from religion”
You’d think that retailers would be fighting the hardest to retain Christmas as a holiday. After all, if it weren’t for Christmas, December would be the slowest month of the year for sales.
