I happened to catch a newspaper ad for a new movie I hadn’t heard about, so I googled it. I WANT TO SEE THIS FILM! It’s not nearby, but is playing in the county to the north of me – limited distribution, apparently. BTW, Teh, I see the real “Sugar Man” will be at the Roots ‘N Blues N’ BBQ Festival Columbia, Missouri on Fri., 9/21.
Morning, Village!I missed a couple of days here at ByE because I’ve been kind of harried about this’n’that. But today is my day off so I can spend a little more time reading and commenting here at GoComics. Today we’re meeting the spackler over at the house and getting a bid on the taping and floating. This is going to be one of the biggest expenses in the project but it has to be done before we can paint. I’m also going to work on patching the sheetrock around the newly installed fireplace.
Had another of “those nights” where I woke up at 4:11 a.m. and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I’m here starting my day.
Slim, I have tried using Facebook a few times, and I just don’t have time for it. I know it’s a great place to meet and chat, but GoComics is about all I have time for.
Florchi, I checked out the trailer and review of Searching for Sugarman. I’m sorry to say I never heard of him, but, when the movie comes on the Indie channel or somewhere else, I’ll check it out.

david……..okay, I had to ask…..what is taping and floating? I’m assuming it has to do with the painting project, but never heard the term before.
We had to cover our plants in the outside garden last night. We still have lots of tomatoes and peppers growing and we’re having our first freeze of the season. Brrrrr!
