The more we learn, the more ridiculous religion is revealed to be.

How many angels can dance on the head of a pin? Just realize that still makes them millions of times bigger than a “string”!

Religion has served a useful purpose thruout history. It gave man answers to questions that he asked when no one knew the answer. 2. It reassured him that good behavior in the society would be rewarded. 3. It provided an agreed upon framework for the creation of societies. 4. It provided “rules” that the unprincipled would hesitate to violate. What so many fail to accept, is that new information sometimes makes old ideas obsolete. Too bad some people can’t tolerate change, but then again, maybe the right has some purpose.

It was also tagged “that goddam particle” which then existed only in theory and hadn’t been proven.

Everyone who has used the term "god particly should have their journalism credentials revoked. It shows a most obtuse form of scientific illiteracy that the religionists worship.

I completely agree, but what government is not based on carrots and sticks? And what leaders do not enjoy special status?
