Those who literally wear the flag (cut up) as clothing items, should go play on freeways. That is NOT “patriotism”, left, or right, it is disrespect, and sorry, as someone who DOES observe flag protocol, I find it an insult to all my friends who died defending what the flag stands for!

The flag displaying residents around where I live who don’t observe the flag protocols usually also display pro-Republican lawn signs during election season. Most of the residents around where I live who usually display pro-Democrat or liberal lawn signs don’t display flags in their yards.

in some neighborhoods, like a gated homeowner’s association community, one cannot fly the american flag, because it disrupts the look of the neighborhood. and, those associations are run by petty people on a power trip since their own lives are crap.

I’m of the ‘Work smarter, not harder’ philosophy.
An intelligent person knows that patriotism is measured by what you do for your country, not by the size of the flag you fly.
Take the flag down until the paint dries (an hour or so for modern paints), and have the child help on other tasks.

I love the little details such as the brackets holding the rain gutters and inclusion of the fasteners. All in all, a very detailed piece of art.
