Ishy is a MOM?!?

Maybe there is such a thing as karma – Lio gave back Little Ishy to his mother a few weeks ago and now he (and Ishy) have five!

Why the cigars? What does that have to do with the birth of squids?

Underwater birth: very trendy.

Leo is going to need lots of squid chow.

Reminds me of two of my feral cats in the backyard: one I had named Sullivan One Eye – turned out to be female, at the vet’s: now named Sulie; the other one I had called Oscar (macho behavior) until he got pregnant – now I have to call her Oscarella.

In the US Cigars are a traditional gift to celebrate a newborn. The father gives them to his friends to announce the baby.

I’m surprised the tub isn’t full of ink.

Lio’s dad doesn’t look very happy.

Cigars were traditionally handed out by the father as a celebratory act after the birth of a child.A rather dated custom that some still remember.considering that few people thing cigars constitute celebrating any more.
