That is about the nicest tribute, that a father could hope for. That he somehow made a difference in his daughter’s life.

I’d like to see a flashback to see what dad looked like.

I agree with King Shark-they those memories are buried deep in her mind. I know they have shown the family visiting the cemetery but I don’t remember what the dad died from.

For Alix subconsciously she does remember what her dad talked about.

I went fishing with a friend and caught a bunch o’ catfish. My wife will not eat fish that isn’t from an expensive restaurant, so my kids had only had fishsticks. My 3 yo daughter got so excited that she ate her fill. The funny thing is that I don’t think she has eaten fish since(in 30 years) – she claims to hate it. Many kids will do things they normally don’t like, just to be with a special adult.
